Private Domestic
Quite often homeowners come to us with concerns about their or a neighbour’s tree. The tree may be quite large, near to a building, road or car park and may flag concerns over its health & safety. They periodically require a formal inspection and report to highlight potential dangers, mitigate injury & damage and have a document to show they have taken their duty of care seriously. This can be kept as a record or maybe submitted to insurance and mortgage companies.

Sometimes tree owners just require advice on tree management such as pruning, tree health and pests & diseases. Any tree queries are welcomed no matter how small or large. As an advocate of increasing the UK stock of trees we are particularly obsessed with correct planting protocol as many trees fail due to that initial procedure.

Large Estates
Quite often larger estates, communal residencies etc require surveys of their stock, their condition and remedial works to keep the estate maintained and safe. Tree management and maintenance reports are a proactive schedule of works to trees that seeks to prevent problems before they arise using strategy and timing, rather than reactive measures that act once a problem has occurred. Although proactive measures seem more expensive initially, they can be cheaper in the long run and dodge litigation and legal matters by preventing problems to begin with.

Property Developers
We work with many developers to provide BS 5837 reports and supervision to assist in gaining planning permissions and abide by regulations around trees on building sites.

Property Managers
We work with many property managers who usually maintain communal areas, blocks of lats, cul-de-sacs, gated communities etc. The duty of care is passed on to property managers from the tree owners so is vital to keep their stock of trees inspected for health & safety, to mitigate potential problems and should an accident occur they have evidence they took duty of care. We offer proactive schedule of works to trees that seeks to prevent problems before they arise using strategy and timing, rather than reactive measures that act once a problem has occurred. Although proactive measures seem more expensive initially, they can be cheaper in the long run and dodge litigation and legal matters by preventing problems to begin with.

Council
Local Authorities quite often do not have a tree officer in their planning department and even those that do still may require outsourced assistance to inspect or survey trees in their jurisdiction. We also offer management and maintenance reports which are a  proactive schedule of works to trees that seeks to prevent problems before they arise using strategy and timing, rather than reactive measures that act once a problem has occurred. Although proactive measures seem more expensive initially, they can be cheaper in the long run and dodge litigation and legal matters by preventing problems to begin with.
